Nail trims without the standoff. A grinder files the nail down instead of snapping through it — no clipper crunch, no guessing where the quick is, no bleeding.
Why it works
- Low-noise motor — the sound is what most dogs object to, not the sensation
-
LED ring lights the nail so you can see the quick on dark nails instead of guessing
- Two speeds: slow for puppies and thin nails, fast for thick ones
- Three port sizes on the guard so only the nail tip is exposed
- USB-C rechargeable — no dock, no batteries
How to use it
- Let it run in your hand near your dog for a minute before it touches a paw. The noise is the hurdle.
- Hold the paw, press the nail tip into the port, and grind in short two-second passes.
- Stop when you see a pale circle in the centre of the cut face — that's the quick approaching.
Little and often beats one long session. Every two weeks keeps the quick receding.

Good to know
Works on dogs and cats. If your dog has never had a grinder near them, spend the first two sessions just letting it run nearby with treats — don't grind at all. It's worth the patience.
